Acad. Prof. Dr Mirjana RADOVIĆ-MARKOVIĆ         

Executive in Chief

Prof.Dr Mirjana RADOVIĆ-MARKOVIĆ is a Full Professor and principal research fellow. She gained complete expert education from the Faculty of Economics, Belgrade University. After her dissertation completing, she continued her advanced studies in the Netherlands, USA and Russia, where she specialized at Lomonosow on the multidisciplinary studies department.

Professor Dr Radović-Marković is the author of 308 scientific works .Her most famous books are "Entrepreneurship and Work in Gig Economy" (2021), "Globalization and Entrepreneurship in Small Countries", (2019), then "Qualitative methods in economics", (2017), as well as the book "Women and entrepreneurship: female durability, persistence and intuition at work" (2013). The last one in the mentioned series was a bestseller in America in August 2014. The recent one book is Globalization and Entrepreneurship: Case of China, Japan and Bangladesh, Routledge, February 2025. Globalization and Entrepreneurship: Cases from China, Japan and Bangladesh

She is the recipient of 26 awards in the country and abroad and is a member of ten academies of sciences and arts (two national), as well as five honorary doctorates. For example, for her high scientific contribution, the Institute of Economic Sciences awarded her the annual "Tomislav Popović" Award twice in October 2017 and December 2021. In addition, she was awarded the first prize for the best science paper for 2017, EMERALD LITERALI AWARDS, which is selected and awarded by the world-renowned EMERALD publishing house from Great Britain; July 2018 and many others.

 Professor Dr Radović-Marković is the best cited economist in Serbia according to AD Scientific Index 2024 - Hirsch index 29. Available at the link Mirjana Radovic Markovic - AD Scientific Index 2024  . Her works have been cited in 104 countries.

She teaches as a full professor in Serbia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Russia and America. In the last few years, she has been teaching in China, and from March 2024 she was elected a distinguished professor at Normal University, China, March 2024.

Professor Dr Radović-Marković founded the scientific journals in the field- of female entrepreneurship -Journal of Women's Entrepreneurship and Education (Founder and Editor-in-Chief (SCOPUS, Q2).

Due to her permanent work on the empowerment of women in Africa, she received several awards. She received an honorary award LIFE MATRON at the Center named after Prof. Mirjana Radovič Marković (PROFESSOR MIRJANA RADOVIC MARKOVIC CENTER FOR WOMEN STUDIES AND GENDER RELATIONS), Porto Novo, Benin (moved to USA), August 12, 2016.

Prof. Dr. Ljiljana Markovic, orientalist and economist, is a Full Professor and Academic Director of the European Centre for Peace and Development University for   Peace est. by the United Nations, Member of The Board of Directors of International Academic Forum (IAFOR), and Chairperson of The International Symposia on Silk Road Academic Studies (ISSRAS). She is a Visiting Professor at Osaka University, Toho University and Gabrielle D’Annunzio University.




Dr Rojda Şükran Karaş

She is a Graduate from Istanbul Bilgi University She holds a Doctorate, Ph.D.  in Communications and Worked at UN Women International Migrant Women Solidarity Association – as a Project Consultant and Institutional Capacity Development Program official for Immigrant and Local Women.

She currently works at Civil Change Association – as a Drama Teacher
 for Rehabilitation Project of Youth through Art (Teaching Turkish Language to Syrian Students Through Creative Drama) 




Rajaâ Cherkaoui El Moursli 

Professor Rajaâ Cherkaoui El Moursli Professor of nuclear physics at the Faculty of Science of the Mohammed V University of Rabat, Morocco

Rajaâ Cherkaoui El Moursli (born 12 May 1954) is a Moroccan Professor of nuclear physics, at the faculty of science within the Mohammad V University of Rabat Prof. Rajaâ Cherkaoui El Moursli received her PhD at the University Joseph Fourier in Grenoble, France. In 1982, she joined the University Mohammed V in Rabat, Morocco. From 1996 to 2016, she was serving as a head of the Nuclear Physics Laboratory and from 2013 to 2017 she was Vice-President of the university. She is one of the precursors for Morocco's participation in the ATLAS experiment at CERN. In 2015, she received L’Oréal-UNESCO award for “Women in Science” for her key contribution to one of the greatest discoveries in physics: proof of the existence of the Higgs Boson. She has been assigned a resident member at the Hassan II Academy of Sciences and Technology, a Fellow of the African Academy of Sciences and a member of the jury for the L'Oréal-UNESCO regional grants for women and science. In 2016, she was appointed a Board Member of the Moroccan Agency for Safety and Nuclear Safety (AMSSNuR) and of the Scientific Committee of the Spanish Foundation "Women for Africa". The Organization of Islamic Cooperation honored her in 2017. In 2018, she was assigned as a member of the Jury for the International L'Oréal-UNESCO Awards for Women in Science. In this year, she was appointed a member of TWAS, of the OWSD and a Board Member of the National Center for Nuclear Energy, Science and Technology (CNESTEN). In 2019, she was elected Vice-President of the Network of African Science Academies.

He was born in Madurai, Tamilnadu, India. He received B.Sc. & M.Sc. Rural Development Science, M.Phil. in Micro Level Planning from Gandhigram Rural University, India on 1990. He completed Ph.D. in Rural Development from Gandhigram Rural Institute on 2005.

He served at various capacities in Government and Non-Governmental Organizations in India. He joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Rural Development and Agricultural Extension in Haramaya University, Ethiopia on the year 2008. Later, He joined as an Associate Professor in the Department of Rural Development and Agricultural Extension, College of Agriculture in Wolaita Sodo University, Ethiopia on the year 2012 up to now.

He has research experience of carrying out Evaluation Study on Watershed Development and Swarna Gramin Rozgar Yojana (S.G.R.Y.) in Virdhunagar and Karur districts as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Rural Development of Gandhigram Rural University, Gandhigram, India from 2004 to 2005.

Dikabo Mogopodi

Secretary General of Botswana Academy of Sciences

 

Dr. Dikabo Mogopodi serves as Deputy Secretary General for Botswana Academy of Science where she has led projects and initiated strategic partnerships. She is the founding Secretary General for OWSD-Botswana National Chapter where she also leads capacity building workshops for women in STEM.

She holds a PhD in Analytical Chemistry and teaches Chemistry at the University of Botswana. She has worked in many areas of research including water safety, food safety and food security with focus on indigenous plants. She is a member of Network of African Science Academies; Women for Science Working Group. She serves in advisory committees as an assessor, nationally and internationally. She is a former Next Einstein Forum Ambassador 2019-2022, under which she organized the first Africa Science Week conference for SADC region, a fellow for Africa Science Leadership Programme and a fellow for Black Women in Science.

She is an Associate of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. She serves in Aphrike Research Secretariat. She has served in Innovation Equity Forum Steering Committee and contributed to mapping Women’s Health Innovation Opportunity Map, which identifies 50 opportunities for catalyzing innovation to improve women’s health supported by Bill Melinda Gates Foundation and NIH.

Dr. Zorana Nikitović was born on July 28, 1978. in Valjevo. She graduated in 2003 from Faculty of Organizational Sciences, and at the same In 2008, she completed her master's studies at the faculty. At the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality from Ohrid, of the University of Bitola in 2011 was successfully defended her master's thesis under the title “Exploring customer satisfaction and how it affects growth of tourist traffic". She received her doctorate at Faculty of Economics, University of Business Engineering and Management from Banja Luka, 2013.year on the topic "The influence of marketing management on development of TQM" and obtained the title of Doctor of Economics science

Prof. Dr Dušan Marković was born in Belgrade in 1960. He is a professor of applied studies in Belgrade. His teaching framework is information technologies and systems, on the subjects designing database and business Intelligence systems. Research fields are in digitization and virtualization such as virtual education, virtual production and virtual business interaction of heterogenic business systems.
